BRS recently has cooperated with a local famous animal feed equipment OEM and successfully installed non-contact air shaft seal on their twin screw Extruder. This application is faced with high temperature (200°C）, high velocity (400 rpm) and limited installation space. The traditional packing seal will wear out quickly because the huge shaft runout and misalignment due to the more than 3 meters long shaft.

More than 3 years ago, BRS has started to supply custom design non-contact air shaft seal to wold famous feed and biofuel OEM Andrits, solving the solid material leaking problem with animal feed extruder equipment. The good performance has proved that BRS can offer high quality shaft seal for critical application.  

The BRS non-contact  Air Shaft Seal is an engineered pneumatic sealing system designed to seal the shafts of machines where typical contact seals such as packing and/or mechanical face seals prove to be ineffective.
It uses a small amount of air or gas to create a positive pressure along the shaft, preventing power particles leaking and keeping the pollutants out.

BRS will take advantage of its extensive sealing application experience and solid custom design ability to expand to more animal feed equipment, such as Dryer, vacuum coating system, hammer mills and pelleting mills, helping more local and international customers to offer reliable and environmentally friendly equipment.
