Before installing the isolator, all equipment must be thoroughly inspected. Disconnect the power supply of the system, and follow all safe operating procedures to install the isolator. The shaft and hole shall be provided with proper chamfer to prevent the O-ring from being scratched. In the modification case, a groove will be left on the shaft due to the wear of the lip type oil seal. Pay attention to prevent the driving ring of the bearing isolator moving ring from being in the groove position. If there is a keyway on the surface of the shaft, care must be taken to avoid cutting the moving ring drive ring during installation.
